HISTORICAL PERIODS/THEMES FOR EACH OF THE THREE DAYS

DAY 1:  Hawaiian/culture/history – prior to Capt. Cook’s arrival in 1778 and the missionary and early malihini-farmers, ranchers and others.

The Plantation Period – 1863 to 1975

Day 2:  Post-Plantation Period – 1975 to 2000

Day 3: Ohana Day -  Kohala Today & Tomorrow

DAILY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS INCLUDE MUSICIANS, FOOD BOOTHS, DISPLAYS IN THE GYM AND TOURS, KEIKI SECTION ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY.

Saturday, July 5 we will have Kohala Roots Memorial.  You are welcome to hold a picture of your loved one that passed. We will have wooden heart ornaments for you to add a picture and decorate for your loved ones.  If person married please add maiden name.  We will read names on Saturday.  Hearts may be placed on trees in the foyer. 

 

Commemorative Reunion t-shirts will be available; reserve yours now.  No extra tshirts available  at reunion.  

 Orders will be available for pickup at the Reunion Registration Desk. Note order deadline April 15, Friday.
